My Bio
I grew up as a "PK" Preacher's Kid.
My father, Dr. Alfred W. Price was a
pioneer in the Lord's healing
ministry, conducting healing
missions in the United States and all
over the world through the 80's.  My
mother sang and played piano.  I
play piano, viola and violin and
taught music in the elementary
schools.
My mother was the poet in our
family, passing on her gift to me and
my sister.  It was not until my
husband of thirty years passed away,
that I truly understood what it
means to begin to have a personal
relationship with God.
I love to pray, read the Bible and
meditate, but most of all, I love
sharing my viola music with others
in church or in nursing homes.
Sandra and I have been friends for
many years, so I am most happy to be
a member of the Prayer Team and to
support her ministry.

MUSIC IN MY LIFE

Music....the mighty power
to move us in our darkest hour.

Music....the voice of love
so deep within and far above.

Music....to sing your praise
and shout it loudly all our days.

Music....to dance away
all cares that cling to you today.

Sing your praises, tap your toe
Feel the wonder, let it show!
I have been captured by the wonderful world of music since I was a young girl.  The musical talents I have
been given have changed my life, as I share my music with others.  It gives me such satisfaction knowing that
I can make others happy by playing the viola in nursing homes or in church or a community orchestra.  By
far, I get the most satisfaction from teaching others to play violin and encouraging them to play in duets or
trios together for others. As an elementary school teacher in the public schools, I gave the class an
assignment. They were to write what the world would be like, if there were no music in it. Since music is so
important to young people, they painted a very grim picture of life without it.  It got them to think about music
and its value in their lives.

Just reading the Psalms shows us that God loves us to praise Him with singing, dancing and with instruments,
as in Psalm 150.  Start off each day with praises to our Lord. Start off your prayers with songs of praise.
You will be caught up in the spirit of Joy and Thanksgiving, and be ready for the challenges that lies ahead.
A world without music? A world without God?  I do have so much to be thankful for and to shout my praises
every day to the God I know is real!
A World Without Music
